CABANA SWIM LESSONS

We offer instruction for a variety of skills – from those completely new to the water to swim skill lessons for competitive swimmers.  This year, we are fortunate enough to have a very strong swim coach that will significantly upgrade our swim program and quality of lessons.

Our new swim lessons program director is a long time competitive swimmer from pre-school age through college and continues to be passionate about swimming and providing swim instruction.  She has over 20 years of experience in aquatics and has worked alongside an Olympic Medalist and a World Champion Swim Team coach.  Her experiences include: Private Swim Instructor, Age Group Swim Coach, Stroke and Turn Clinic Coach, Dry Land Athletic Trainer, Masters Swim Coach, Summer League Swim Team Head Coach, and Country Club Interim Aquatics Director positions.  Her certifications include: USA Swimming Certified Coach, Water Safety Instructor Certified, and being an American Swim Coach Association member.  As this season's Sr. Cabana Manager revamping the quality and operations of our cabana swim program by improving our swim instruction and developing our swim instructors (i.e. coaching the coaches) will be her primary focus.

Regular sessions are all 25 minutes long. Single day sessions will be available throughout the Dolphins Swim Team season and are 40 minutes long. Please see below for level descriptions and lesson offerings. Additional private lessons and custom sessions are available upon request and based on swim instructor availability including Baby and Me and Adult lessons .  Please contact us at: swimlessons@almadencabana.com

Our spring sessions start with Saturday & Sunday Weekend lessons. Excluding swim meet or cabana event weekends which are single day lessons and are 40 minutes long. Once school is out, we will continue to offer Weekend lessons and also start our M-F Weekday lessons (with the exception of the week of July 4).  The lessons are typically late mornings through early afternoon and will be available through our season's end based on demand.
