CABANA SWIM LESSONS - REGISTRATION is CLOSED FOR 2025 Season. next years season will open Spring 2026.ACC is a not-for-profit cabana and therefore not in the swim school business. However, we do offer summer seasonal instruction for a variety of skills – from those completely new to the water to those who are competitive swimmers. The primary purpose for this offering is to teach our membership's children and those of our local community to be water safe. We also hope to prepare more children for our swim team program, the Almaden Dolphins (members only).Our swim lessons program manager, Bella Hertzig, is a returning Swim Lessons Instructor. Bella grew up in our community, swimming for the Dolphins until she graduated from Leland High School in 2024. This summer is her 2nd season managing the Swim Lesson Program at the Cabana. She is looking forward to teach the next generation of young swimmers, as well as continuously developing the swim lesson program for this year and future summers. Regular sessions are all 30 minutes long and are offered Monday-Friday. Please see further below for level descriptions and lesson offerings. Swim Lessons 2025 is CLOSED! Group lessons will be of 3:1 (three students to one swim instructor) in order to give ample time to each student. Private lessons are based on swim instructor availability. Scroll down below to see Private Instructors Availability. Swim Lesson Policies No Refunds, Makeup Classes, or Class Exchanges between Group Lessons and Private Lessons are allowed! If your Swimmer's Group Lesson week and time no longer works for them, we can move them to a different week and time that is available. Lessons from past seasons cannot be rolled over to the following season. If you have lessons that have not been used, you must use them before the current season ends. |

Swim lessons are offered in two levels:
Group A (Ages 3.5-6 years old) *Must be potty trained to take lessons*
Group B (7 years old and older)
Please register for the appropriate half hour that suits your child's age (check out descriptions above). We do have 'Waitlist' enabled so if there is a spot open, you will be moved from the Waitlist to the Class Roster. If you are NOT moved from the Waitlist the night before the class starts for the week, there was no space for your swimmer.

PLEASE NOTE: When the pool is "CLOSED" during non-operating hours and days, your child can only be in the pool during their lesson time. Once the lesson is over, your child CANNOT swim in the pool.

2026 Private Lessons - REGISTRATION WILL OPEN END OF MAY 2026
Private lesson registrations is on a different system in order to better manage Private Swim Instructor availability and overall scheduling.
Private Lessons are not available until June 2026. Please come back and check the Private Lessons Calendar at the end of May 2026.
